Turtle Bay Supplement

The 5-day lesson plans are written to fidelity. The answer sheet allows students to practice bubbling and also makes it easier to grade end-of-selection tests. The test supplement is a great way to gauge student mastery of standards-based concepts covered during this story, and can be printed on the back of the answer sheet. The grammar files can be copied onto a transparency and/or printed out as worksheets and can be used as a mini-lesson before writing. True/false questions can be used quickly and easily during shared reading of the story in order to allow students to practice searching for evidence in the text. The think and respond questions and story map can be completed whole group, independently, or used as a center. Also included are spelling and vocabulary homework.
