To Smoke or Not to Smoke

**Lung Kit needed for this lesson** Contact Liz Whitehead at eaverdi@interact.ccsd.net to reserve the kit Students will describe the function of lungs, and the body system they are a part of. Students will compare a healthy lung to an unhealthy lung. Students will examine the effects of smoking tobacco on lungs. Students will apply math skills to real life situations. Students will collaborate to identify ways to avoid unhealthy situations. Students will create a product that displays “No Smoking” ideas. (posters, letters, skits, etc…)
