Discover Proportional Thinking

In this lesson students will investigate the relationship between numbers of stacked pennies and their height in millimeters. This hands-on activity will use a series of questions for students to complete in groups and record their own findings in their math journal. Students will make predictions, brainstorm, Think/Pair/Share, and use manipulatives during the process. The class discussion will be led by the teacher acting as a facilitator. #VegasPBS-MATH430
