A Spin on the Traditional Biography Project

Instead of the traditional biography report, I have students write letters to the famous person - and then write a response letter from that person to the original letter. The students respond and then write a final letter from the famous person. [Students write 4 letters in all.] Most of the students really enjoyed the project.
