College Week, Grades Kindergarten - 5th

These resources can be used to encourage students at your school to begin thinking about college. The College Week Teacher Survey is given out to all teachers, and photos of each teacher are taken and put on a map on a bulletin board along with the survey information. Students can study the bulletin board and complete the College Map Trivia document. Intermediate students research a college of their choice and write a research paper using the College Research Template and How to Conduct An Internet Search. Students can also write a college essay using the College Week Essay Template, and College Week Prompts. Teachers select the top essay in each classroom, and judges choose the best essay of each grade level using the College Week Essay Awards and Letter to Essay Judges. #Wiki-TeacherLiveJanuary11
