Math Prediction / Probability Chart

Students try to predict what number a rolled die will land on and then record the actual roll. They repeat 10 times. Then they try to predict whether a rolled die will land on an even or odd number and then record the actual roll. They repeat 10 times. This helps show students that with fewer choices they can improve their chances for prediction. If the teacher then averages several charts together, he/she can illustrate that numbers all show up about the same number of times. #wiki-teacherliveapril10
