Sentence Combining using Write from the Beginning

In this demonstration video, the first grade teacher introduces students to the skill of sentence combining using the word "and". She introduces the concept to students in the "I Do" section, practices with them in the "We Do" section, and then gives them time to practice this new skill independently in the "You Do Alone" portion of the lesson.
