Understanding Non-fiction Text Features

This worksheet is used in the Comprehension Toolkit by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis. The WS is used to identify text features and to understand their purpose. On the left students write the feature (heading) and illustrate or write what it looks like in the book. On the right students explain the purpose of the text feature.
