Inferences through Mysteries

This file is correlated to the focus skill: Making inferences of Lesson 18, "Dear Mr. Blueberry" in Trophies Readers - Grade 2. This file will help students use given information as detectives to solve simple mysteries. This file can be used to apply comprehension skills- inferences - to short reading passages. This file can be done independently, in student pairs or in groups. A mini-lesson on the elements of a mystery might precede this activity.
