"Casey at the Bat" Drawing Conclusions Page

This page accompanies "Casey at the Bat", and is used with "We'll Never Forget You Roberto Clemente" in Harcourt Trophies, fifth grade. The focus skill for this story is drawing conclusions, and the questions on this page can help with that. The questions need to be answered periodically throughout reading the poem, not at the end. You can use this as a center, as part of whole-group instruction, or simply a tool to keep students engaged.
