Title: Topic Sentences Cooperative Learning Activity Grades 3, 4, 5
Description: I use these samples with my students as a writing mini-lesson for the trait of organization. We use a cooperative learning activity called Four Corners for multiple choice questions. In "Four Corners," students read the choices that I post on the ELMO and write "A," "B," "C," or "D" on their white boards. In each corner I post a letter, and students go to that corner. Then they discuss their answer with the other students in their corner and I lead a whole group discussion about the correct answer. #Wiki-TeacherLiveMarch10
