New Login Procedure When Viewing Resources

I am excited to share that a project I have been working on for a while that finally went live today. In the past, when users have followed a link to a resource (e.g., lesson plan, unit plan, demonstration video) from an email, Facebook, or our newsletter, they were first presented with a very plain/dull login page. This login page said nothing about the resource you were trying to access and led to some confusion. In addition, this completely walled off our content from being found on search engines like Google.

Today we made subtle new change to this process. Now, when a user follows a link from a newsletter, email, or Facebook, they are taken to a special login page that has the title of the resource and a quick preview. I think this will make the process much more clear for users, and this has the added bonus of allowing search engine bots like Google to crawl those pages. This is just another example of the little improvements we are always making to the site to continually improve it for you!
